Delete Your Account

For the TalkReady mobile app by One Percent Developers · Last updated: August 23, 2026

Fastest: delete it from inside the app

If you still have TalkReady installed, you can delete your account yourself and it happens immediately — no waiting on us:

  1. Open TalkReady and go to the Profile tab.
  2. Find the account card (it shows the email or phone number you signed in with).
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Read the confirmation and tap Delete account again.

Your account and everything in it is removed from our servers straight away, the app clears its copy from your phone, and the app closes.

Already uninstalled? Use this form

Enter the email address you signed in with. We'll find the matching account and delete it within 30 days, and email you at that address when it's done.

This must be the email address on the TalkReady account, or we can't find it to delete.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your account is permanently deleted:

  • Your account and identity — the email address, name and profile picture from Google Sign-In, and your phone number if you signed in with one.
  • Your progress — streak, XP, level, streak freezes and achievements.
  • Your practice history — every practice session record and the list of sentences you've already seen.
  • Your referrals — your referral code, who invited you, who you invited, and any rewards earned.
  • Everything on your phone — when you delete from inside the app, it also wipes its local copy: saved words, saved scripts and all offline progress.

This cannot be undone. There is no grace period and no backup you can restore from — if you sign up again afterwards, you start from zero.

What is kept, and for how long

  • The deletion request itself — the email address, name and reason you submit on this page are kept for up to 12 months so we can show that the request was made and acted on, then deleted.
  • Practice content — the sentences, dialogues and word definitions in the app are ours, not yours, and stay. They contain nothing personal.
  • Videos you saved yourself — practice clips you exported are your own files in your phone's gallery. We never had a copy, so we can't delete them; delete them from your gallery if you want them gone.
  • Records we're legally required to keep — if any exist, such as payment or tax records, they are retained only for as long as the law requires and are not used for anything else.
